| Giving flea and tick medicine early? Sophia gets her heart worm & flea and tick medicine on the 1st of every month. Brody gets it on the 7th. I'd like for them to get both on the 1st, it would be easier for me to remember I know it's fine to give the heart worm medicine early, but is it okay to give the flea & tick a week early, or is that harmful?

| I think it will be fine. Poor Georgie a few years ago had fleas so I was giving it to him every 3 weeks and it didn't bother him.

| I use Vectra also. You might bring them closer within two does. Like go 3 or 4 days early next month and then the same the following month. Or even ask your vet. I will tell you I only use a half dose on each girl, so only one tube per month. The half dose has kept fleas and ticks off both of mine. It is a thought where you might save some money.

I'm not sure, but I think your girls weigh less than Sophia and Brody. Sophia is 8.9 lbs and Brody is 8. It would make me nervous splitting the tube ( but would be a great way to save $$, that stuff is so expensive )!
