| First season Can anyone tell me if 6 months is too young to be on heat ? The reason I ask is that Molly keeps sniffing the trying to lick Lily's bits. I have checked and also washed her but she still keeps chasing her round trying to get at her. Lidiesels not like it and eventually turned on Molly today. What do you think is she starting to give of some sort of scent or any other ideas.? Thanks in advance. Eileen

| 6 months is not too early. It is very possible she is putting out a scent. Do you plan on having her spayed?

| Think the question is answered. Lily is a little swollen around the area with a couple of drops of blood. I do plan to have her spayed but as she is not quite 6 months this has caught me on the hop. Can she be done while in heat or do I have to wait. Iv never had an intact bitch before. Is there anything I need to do ?

Oh also forgot to add, can you put panties on her? This will help keep the blood from getting on things.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yes I would also wait now. Now the job is to watch her like a hawk. Male dogs can smell that from along distance. So make sure you are with her whenever she is outdoors.

| Ok I am so embarrassed. cleaned Lily up and no more blood was a bit curious until I found a squashed strawberry she had sneaked into her bed she must have sat on it and that's what was on her behind. An releved though. Now I can get her fixed. Imagination is a terrible thing
