| Is this ok? Joel has these days where he just doesnt want to eat. And today is one of them, he'll eat anything but his food, but I purposely dont let him until he eats his own. And he'll atleast eat alot before he goes to bed. But I was wondering if its fine for him to not eat all day, he plays and everything so he's not lethargic. I think it's a yorkie thing. |

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | Max just started being less hungry in the morning and he is 7 months. He used to eat well in the morning (1/3 cup of kibble) and a lot more in the evening. Now, he'll eat about half of that in the morning but eat well at night. I supplement with Nutri-Cal, and will add a little cottage cheese to his food to try and entice him.

| Joel is 5 months and has done this pretty much the whole time, and he doesn't even like his nutri-cal, but I never thought of cottage cheese. I need to try that. |

| Miss Mia has never been a great eater. I do give nutracal on my finger and she loves it. My Miss Mini was the same way. I've given up trying to feed them in the a.m. They won't eat it. I give them 2 baby carrots on my way out the door to work. They eat a good meal in the evening a couple more carrots and thats it. I tried so hard to make her eat 2ce a day, just won't do it. I mix water with their kibble, I no longer leave it out for longer than 15 minutes, this way they eat it all! They learn pretty quick!

| So Joel still hasn't today, and I was officialy worried when he wouldn't even eat a piece of Roscos foodlol. So I had to force him to take the nutri-cal since he doesn't like it. And he's been acting a little sick and when we were getting ready for bed I noticed watery diarreah........on my bed,wow gross, right. And than I thought back and noticed I dont remember him drinking much today, so I syringe fed him some beef broth and some plain water, he didn't want it but did it bc he was trying to listen So Im wondering how much this could be torward him teething? I read that it could even cause diarreah, like maybe a baby tooth didnt come out all the way and is causing him pain. He also will sometimes open and close his mouth like he's trying to even out his teeth I think. Ill probably be taking him to the vets tomorrow. Any advice would be great Last edited by ilovejoel; 05-29-2012 at 02:27 AM. |

| Update Joel is doing much better, I think him getting sick and not wanting to eat was all from him teething. Also his left ear is getting floppy, lol. And this morning he was realy bitey on everyone like he couldn't help it, but he was so happy that he felt better from last night that he wouldn't leave me alone. He was being realy silly trying to get my attention by running in front of me and laying on my feet so I couldn't walk away. Also to get him to eat i'm feeding him on a schedule instead of free feeding him,it's been working good and I put beef broth in his dry food and chopped carrots. He loves it and can barely wait for the next meal time, plus its softer on in teeth. |
