| I like Earthborn - decent prices, great ingredients, they have both high protein and lower protein formulas with different fat levels. So lots of options. Manufactured by Midwestern Pet Food. Good reputable company IMO - based in the USA, no recalls to my knowledge, etc. Some of their grainfrees are a bit high in ash, which I am not comfortable with (specifically the Primitive Natural - which is at 12% ash). Why Is There Ash in Your Dog's Food?

| I was going to try it but then the store I buy from stopped carrying it and replaced it with Hi-Tek Naturals. They claimed there are better foods in that price point than Earthborn. I was feeding TOTW but had planned to switch. When I asked about the Earthborn, that is what they told me. I decided to go with Fromm instead. They highly recommend Fromm and had been trying to get me to switch for awhile anyway. They told me their personal favorites in or near my price point are Fromm, Pulsar (by Horizon), Precise, and Hi-Tek Naturals. I tried Precise awhile back but was not impressed and had gone back to TOTW. I will probably stick with the Fromm now. Also, Fromm seems to be a very good company and hasn't had any recalls that I know of.
