YT Addict | Question about "Wellness" canned food.... “This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding” Can anyone tell me exactly what that statement means? This statement is on the Wellness (canned) products. I give this to my babies.......they love it! They only get 1/4 cup a night. The rest of their diet consists of TOTW Salmon (stopping that one now due to the recall) and NOW Grain Free small breed. Just curious.

| It means the food isn't complete and balanced, so it should be used more like a treat. Unbalanced food shouldn't make up more than 10% of the diet

YT Addict | Thank you....................that was the way I was taking it. Thanks for confirming. I guess I should really just give them a spoonful mixed in with the NOW Kibble. They just seem to prefer it all by itself. I tell you..................it's been baffeling trying to figure out the best feeding practices. Rylee Belle is 18 months old now and I'm still figuring it out! For that matter................Rookie is 11 years old and I'm still trying to figure him out!!!!
