| I have limited selection in my immediate area, so I switched over to Blue Buffalo Life Protection Puppy this morning. My little guy is generally a VERY picky eater, but he gobbled up the whole bowl! He seems to like it even better than the 4Health. It's a little more expensive, of course, but I can deal with it. Tractor Supply had a 15 lb bag for $23.99. Hopefully the sudden diet change doesn't cause him any problems. Two recalls from the same plant is enough to keep me away from Diamond products forever--it makes me question how much they really care about the animals they're feeding. |

| I switched from TOTW a while back to FROMM and haven't had any problems with it. Trixie will eat FROMM although she did like TOTW better, but I won't buy anything from Diamond. FROMM is a smaller kibble than TOTW but she still seems to like it.

| Does Fromm have a totally free of chicken and chicken by-products variety. I have to get something quick as I bought a 28 lb bag of Natural Balance that I am scared to death to even open and am seriously considering going with home cooking. I am calling Natural Balance on Monday to see if my lot # was from the SC Diamond plant..still scared even if it wasn't

| I have no idea what to feed my dogs now because of this nasty recall business with Diamond...I shop at Tractor Supply and would like to continue with my one stop shopping if possible. Dog food and gardening in one stop is great for me, any ideas? |

I REALLY really want to feed Fromm as I love everything about them but unfortunately, their formulas don't seem to work well for him (he can typically switch cold turkey between any food, but Fromm gives him gas and soft poos). And last time we tried it, gave him the itchies. So that sucks for us - I really love them. I'm pretty sure all their formulas contain chicken of some sort, FYI, except maybe their Game Bird grainfree recipe. But yeah, the only grain in the Acana Singles is oats.

| Some Tractor Supply's sell Blue Buffalo, which HAS had a recall in the past, but I thought it was handled well for the most part. Some love it, some complain of GI problems while on it, but I like it better than anything made at Diamond.

| I am going to be out of kibble before I can decide what to do. I guess a few days of ground turkey and veggies won't hurt them will it until I decide what to do. This is so stressful. I have to order all my food online unless I want crappy grocery store foods.

For Chicken Free foods: Here is the link to Fromm 4 start food I see so far the: Duck & Sweet Potato, Whitefish & Potato & Salmon A la Veg (all have chicken cartilage but that is supposed to be ok for allergy suffers) does not have chicken and chicken by-products also Grain-Free Beef Frittata Veg Also see Canadian company Petcurean link. They have some that have no poultry products in them like the SENSITIVITY + SHINE™ Salmon Recipe. Also see GO! SENSITIVITY + SHINE™ Duck Recipe. And their NOW FRESH Grain Free Small Breed Recipe & NOW FRESH Grain Free Adult Recipe (made w/ turkey/potato) I don't see chicken in Canadian company Acana's Acana Lamb & Okanagan Apple link or Acana Duck & Bartlett Pear link. The Lamb one says it is a "a great choice for dogs allergic to chicken". Mr. Chewy has all the foods I mentioned and $4.95 shipping rate or free when spend $49. If spend $49 it is 1-2 days shipping for most of U.S. Re-check incase I missed something (disclaimer ). I tried my best.
