| Rabbie`s shot My vet refuses to vaccinate N'Stein for rabbie. She's telling that there's a possibility that the shot produce a tumor. Are your doggies vaccinated for rabbie.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Gracie is but Rebel hasn't yet. Yes, I heard some cause for concern over the rabies shots...not just on here. You really need to look in your area and see if there are rabies found. I know that the skunks here in South Texas are pretty bad and they found 2 around Victoria last summer with Rabies. As far as tumor??? I haven't heard that one but I have heard an isolated case of lameness in a Dob.

| Is the rabies vaccine not required by law in Canada? I am opposed to the over vaccination of our pets and snce it is the law here i had to obtain "waivers" from my vet for medical reasons to avoid the rabies shot. All vaccines are potentially harmful and can even cause the very disease they are designed to prevent. If your vet doesn't want to give it I am sure he/she has a valid reason. Maybe ask them to explain more about the tumor issue and come back and post what she says here. I am curious. |
