Zoey, my 4 year old, Yorkie was killed by these treats. She breathed her first and last breath in my arms. Please sign the below petitions!

I just saw a piece on the news in College Station TX about chicken jerky treats...I immediately thought of your sweet baby girl, Zoey...and it showed the Waggin Train Treats. I'm so glad they are putting this info out there..so many people do not know how many dogs and cats have gotten sick from these treats...its just horrible.

Thank you for fighting to educate people about China-made jerky treats...Zoey did not die in vain...it is heartbreaking that it takes deaths of thousands of pets to garner the attention needed to get these products off the shelf. Though she passed too soon...too young, her story will hopefully prevent the death of other dogs on YT whose owners didnt know better..

Behind the Scenes Investigation

I just took the pic and printed it out on 200 business cards. Will start passing them out to people in Petsmart on my next day off, and leaving them at the groomer's, our vet, the humane society where I work, etc. I'm going to ask about including them in the package we send home with every animal adopted at the shelter.

I encourage others to check out this group "Pet Treats From
China Kill". You can print your self or order stickers as well a business cards cautioning against- China Made Jerky Treats. Maybe those of you involved with rescue groups could pass them out to new owners/adopters or your friends. Pass the word on! I would hate to hear of another pet lost to this treats like my precious yorkie, Zoey.

That's a great idea. Can they make us leave the premises or call the cops on us? I work at a shelter and think I could get the majority of my coworkers to come with me on Black Friday.

I plan to be sneaky- Handing out buisiness type card about Jerky Treats myself. I know others are going to put flyers on peoples cars.

I would imagine actual picketers may get media attention. Before I do that I would check with your local police- You may need paperwork to allow you to do it.

Even if you just talk to people it is something

Petsmart does not have Waggin Train/Canyon Creek treats anymore at least not this past week. Hopefully this is a step forward!

Unfortunately, Petco and Walmart continue to sell them!
