| I'm confused with this squirming Mya squirms from EVERYTHING I've sprayed on her thus far. I thought it was her doggy perfume, so I changed to something totally different... She squirms from that too. She squirms when I spray the hydrocortisone itch relief spray on her and when I spray flea repellant on her. I mean literally squirming to a point where I be thinking I got it in her eye somehow. But I always hold her face away from the spray and cover it with my hand. Could her allergies be that bad??? Or should I be worried about something else going on? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Many dogs don't like being sprayed, so I don't think that alone is cause for concern. I would however be more concerned with what all you're spraying on her....that sounds like a lot of spraying, and it's no surprise she doesn't like it. If fleas are a problem consult with a vet as to which flea remedy is working best in your area, I try to avoid any flea sprays. I can see where any perfume could be an irritant, is it necessary to spray her with perfume? If so, try spraying the perfume on a brush first and then brushing her. She'll pick up some of the scent with out a lot of direct skin exposure. Could be without the flea repellant and so much perfume she may not need an itch relief/cortisone spray?

| Hmmmm..... I don't spray anything on Brutus. When I need a detangler, I spray it on his brush and then brush him. Flea repellant?

I don't spray neither on her everyday nor at the same time. I've sprayed the Hydrocort... on her twice since I bought it two months ago. I've sprayed the flea repellant spray on her once because I didn't want her to catch any fleas on her that day I let her play in the grass for a long while. She gets a monthly flea treatment so there's no need to spray it unless really needed. The dog perfume I was putting on her (not that often either since the smell last a while) is indeed for dogs. I switched her to the Yorkie Sheen I'd been reading good reviews about all over the forum. I was shocked at her response to it since I didn't spray much on her. It's never on the skin. IDK...

Isn't the Yorkie Sheen a detangler? I bought the rasberry/chocolate kind. I don't like it though. About the flea spray... Maybe I'm not saying the name right. I bought it from Petsmart. Directions is to spray on the dog.....

Aah. I do know she doesn't like for me to brush her. But this is a must because of her cottony coat. I try to do it most times when she's sleepy. She's less likely to get mad.

| That's what I use as well as a detangler and also to make him smell good. I found that spraying it on his brush first works best and goes on evenly.
