I hope Jada and Bogie are half that relaxed when ours comes next week:D That is so cool that Sugar will just lay on her back and let you do that. What a good girl:)

You are lucky;) Jada is fighting me tooth and (no pun intended) nail just to brush her teeth since she had the abscessed tooth removed:(

I think I have the hots for a dremel! Wylie hates hates hates the nail clippers bc the few times he went to the groomers, his quick was cut. I wonder if he'd do okay w/ a dremel....

Sugar screams when I try to use nail clippers. She can sense that I am anxious and she does a "warning" scream if she thinks I am too close to her quick!

Back several years ago when I was grooming, I accidently cut a nail too short and of coarse the poor little dog cried and bled. From that time on when I cut their nails I get a sinking feeling in my stomach. I have been just letting the vet do it lately. They charge like 10.00 to cut them. Think I am going to try the dremel again and just take it real slow and easy. Like I said earlier Lexi is the only one of ours thats use to it and its been awhile so she may have a fit.

:thumbup: I love my Dremel too. Mine are not that relaxed, but at least they will tolerate it. With the nail clipper, Moka lets out a cry before I ever snip it. It's so pathetic and funny, but the Dremel is much less stressful.

Sugar does the same thing. Her nails were very hard to keep up with as a result :rolleyes:

Now, they are almost short :D:D:D:D

I was going to buy one but the groomer I took her to told me that I could rip her hair off using it. Frightened me into getting it. Maybe I will look at some helpful videos on how to use it before I buy.
