| Treats and Liver Shunts Does anybody know of any treats you can give your dog while on prescription dog food for liver shunts. I have been careful so far on not letting him have anything but his food but I feel so bad not being able to give him anything special.

| I give Tink anything low protein, or easily digestible proteins like: Cheerios (plain), Gerbers Graduates Puffs, cottage cheese, yogurt (no artificial sweetners), whipped cream (tiny bit), green beans, apples (no skin or seeds), carrots, zuchinni, noodles, crackers (Saltines, tiny bit), pizza crust (tiny bit)....

| Thank you I have been terrified to give him anything else but I feel mean because that food even though he eats it is just downright nasty!

| Cottage cheese can be super high in protein...I'm diabetic and that's basically the only milk product I'm allowed to eat because of the high protein |
