| pee turning bright yellow My yorkie took her first dosage of heart worm medicine today. Since then her pee has been bright yellow. Is this normal? i just want to check because she recently had a UTI infection. |

| I have never heard of HW preventatives doing that either. I think darker would be an indication of not drinking enough. Bright yellow makes me think of vitamins. Any changes in food or did you give any supplements?

| Darker urnine does usually indicate less fluid in the body but if there was a dye in the medication it could effect the color of the urine. It would have to be a significant amount of dye to show up though. I would try to increase her fluid intake and watch her closely. |
