| Vaccines - Newer or Familiar?? My puppy has been given 2 Neopar and 2 NeoVac DA2 vaccines by age 9 weeks. Should I continue with these vaccines or go with the more familiar DHLPP vaccine? Does anyone have any suggestions for one over the other??

| I give my mommas about a week before they are bred, a NeoPar shot....it boosts the babies immunity to parvo...and then I give each baby Neopar shot at 3 weeks of age, again to boost their resistance to parvo....NeoPar is not "negated" by the mothers own immunity. I am not familiar with the other vaccine you mentioned...I dont know if these are used in place of, like ProGard-5, which is what I use... |

| NeoPar is a treatment for the parvo virus and the NeoVac DA2 is in place of the traditional DHLPP (for Distemper, Hepatitis (CAV-2), Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus (combined canine vaccine)...

| NeoPar is not a treatment for parvo....NeoParŪ is recommended for the vaccination of healthy dogs against diseases caused by canine parvovirus. This is a modified live version of the virus. |
