| ![]() Hi everyone, i got Nemo when he was 2 months old, when he first came home he was perfectly well. eating & drinking fine. a few weeks after i noticed he would cough every now and then but it went away after a week or so. just a few days ago he started to Throwup a white foamy looking substance. he throws up about 5 times a day.. hes still his playful self though. last night, before bed, i fed him steamed rice mixed with his chicken flavored dog food and he ate it and he stop vomiting. this morning hes back to vomiting and he doesnt want to eat the rice anymore. any suggestions of what could be wrong with him? help PLEASE!!! |

| ![]() My best advice is get him to the vet before he loses any more fluid or gets sicker.

| ![]() You need to find another vet! A yorkie puppy just a few months old that is throwing up 5 times a day, needs a proper medical evaluation.

| ![]() You need to change vets! These babies can go down like a rock, and you go from just vomiting, to half dead from dehydration, hypoglycemia, hypovolemic shock, etc....and that is all just from vomiting and getting dehydrated....that doesnt even count the CAUSE of the continual vomiting. If you current vet see NOTHING wrong with this, change vets immediately! |

| ![]() How often & what are you feeding him ? He needs puppy food & he needs to eat 2 but better if 3 times a day. He could be getting acid stomach from not eating enough. However I do agree with the others that you need to find a new vet, preferably one who will not dismiss your concerns & you pups vomiting. |

| ![]() Please find yourself another vet who is familiar with treating small pets. Not all vets know all things. Depending on how old your pup is, he should be eating at least 3 to 4 times a day...a good puppy food which has the nutrients and vitamins specifically for puppies. He could be throwing up bile from an empy stomach which can lead to hypoglycemia. You should have something called Nutrical on hand for this. It is not to be used instead of proper nutrition but just in case something happens. In the meantime until you can find some, Karo syrup will work. Please find yourself another vet and get your little on on a good puppy food.
