![]() Hi all! I am new to YT so hoping I get this post to work right. I feel like I have looked & searched everywhere on here for the answer to this but if I missed it I am sorry for the repeat. I have two 7 month old yorkies (one right at 3 lbs the other just under 4 lbs) and live in Texas. Need to get them on some type of flea/tick preventative but not sure what is safe. I used Comfortis with my previous yorkie and it worked great but he was a big boy at 14 lbs. I am a nervous wreck about everything with these 2 tiny babies. I never liked the topical treatments and with 2 puppies I would be worried about them ingesting some of it since they are constantly biting on each other. We treat around the fence of our yard but try to keep pesticides out of their "play area". Have not talked to the vet about what to use yet. Guess I wanted some opinions from here first. Any help is greatly appreciated!

![]() well, i use revolution for my boy because it comes in a low dosage for 0-5 pound dogs. however it is a topical. i really think it would be best for you to talk to your vet about it though. they could reccommend something i am sure...

![]() Thank you. I am planning to talk to my vet and I do trust her opinion very much. I am just curious what most people have the best luck with and if anyone else had to use something with 2 puppies.
