| kind of a gross subject but... i was watching Brew in our backyard yesterday and i noticed that his poopies have turned like a pale gray kind of color. i always watch when he goes so i can make sure there isn't anything alarming happening. and when he goes they look like perfect normal brown logs i know sorry (i warned!) now it seems like as the days have passed (and i haven't picked it up up) they are turning this ashey color. i started feeding acana lamb and apple a few weeks ago... anyone else heard of this??? he's acting like himself in every other way. |

| If the poop is a normal color when it comes out of your pup and then turns grey and ashy, that is normal for a higher protein food like Acana. However, if the poop is pale grey when your pup expels it, that can be an indication of liver problems -- and then you should see your vet and have blood tests done.

Poop that turns quickly to grey ash is not connected to eating too much.
