| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yes, we all know your local Vet does not know much about nutrition. But, because they don't a Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist does. I don't know about them all but I know Dr. Rebecca L. Remillard who has a PHD in Nutrition ALONG with my vet recommended Taycie's RX diet for her. Just because a Vet doesn't know "anything" about nutrition doesn't mean they don't learn from someone who does. Her diet has done MIRACLES for her! I think the important thing to remember is what works for one dog does not work for the next. My mind has opened up to the importance of Quality Control and Testing. For me, with a dog who struggles with Food intolerance's and allergies, Quality Control Procedures have to be in place, or I will end up with a very sick dog. Testing is so very important because if it wasn't there, who knows how I would be able to help her. And, I really doubt Google would tell me what to feed. To each there own I guess. For me, I just have changed my views. And my dog is reaping the benefits. It really is about finding what works. For me I have learned that there is so much more to nutrition then what is online or printed and sold. I will the let the Vet with the PHD tell me what to feed. I just feel the knowledge completely surpasses any website or armchair nutritionist.

| I did find it interesting how much Hills is involved with the AVMA. "As mergers and consolidations continue in the veterinary industry, it has become increasingly difficult to obtain funding for conference programs, so Hill's unwavering support is even more important. "We continue to be committed to providing a solid, dependable financial base so that the convention planners can enhance quality CE programs for the entire veterinary health care team," Marton says. "We are excited about the benefits that will accrue from that for the profession." Hill's provides impressive funding for future conventions - December 1, 2003
