| I would search for the answer myself but my iPhone is not cooperating. Is Cortaid OK to use on Betty Boop? She has broken out in a terrible red line rash from one underarm to the other underarm. It almost looks like a long scratch. She is going to lick at whatever I use. I just gave her Benadryl and she seems settled down a bit and I put some Pjs on her to try and keep her from licking the ointment. What ointment is safe to use for itching? The vet told me last week that it will probably be a bad year for allergies.

| Uni's been very bad with the itchies this season as well. I put coconut oil on her. If yo don't have any, maybe just put some lotion on her and put on a cone until you can see the vet. I don't know if cortaid is ok.

| I would be careful about ointments. You might want to ask your vet about Gentocin or Betagen spray. It is antibiotic and steroid spray and it is great for these things. I always have it on hand. I have used it for years. I am sure your vet will sell it to you without your having to go in for an appt.

She is sleeping soundly on top of me. The Benadryl is working. I don't want to move as it will disturb her. Now, if I could get back to sleep again, all would be right with the world.
