| Hypoglycemia Low blood sugar! My Gracie has recently experienced 2 episodes; shaking, bug eyes, stumbles around like she is drunk. She is 6 yrs old. I gave her a little Karo syrup and some peanut butter (her favorite treat); she was back to herself within a few minutes. This is not something that has happened her whole life, just started a few months ago. Nothing about her life has changed; food, diet, environment...all the same. I don't know what to think; how concerned should I be? Could this be a symptom of something worse? I know she needs to see the Vet, but thought I would get a few opinions tonight. Thanks.

| It's not normal for an adult dog to experience hypoglycemic episodes and can be a symptom of something else. You should got to your vet and have tests done it can be something serious.

| I agree. Seems like a big red flag that something could be wrong. Best to check it out so you know for sure. Good luck!!!
