| Do you know anything about these? Posted in previous thread about Mikki and her dislike of TOTW. So I went to the pet shop and got more samples. I was given Prairie Chicken & Brown rice, California Natural Kangaroo & Red Lentils, and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul. Any one have any experience with any of these? I home cook for Rosie because of her IBS. Starting to think it would just be easier to home cook for both of them.

| I just started recently. I had her on Science Diet I/D. After some research, I decided to try the home cooking since she has IBS. I paid for a recipe and order the supplements that are needed. Knock on wood, we haven't had any issues at all. And she LOVES it! Mikki is really a dry dog food girl. I think she will miss having the "crunch" if I switch her. When it comes to eating habits they are like night and day. Rosie has always had two meals each day while Mikki is use to free feeding. I am not sure the home cooking is ideal for her.

| Nature's Variety is a very good food. We fed Nature's Variety Prairie chicken and brown rice for a long time. Occasionally we got a different flavor for some variety. We only stopped feeding it because it kept going up in price and we had to switch to something a little cheaper. Money is tight right now. Currently we are feeding Precise Foundation and the dogs seem to like it just fine and seem to be doing fine on it. It's about $10 / 30 lb bag cheaper. I feel bad switching to something cheaper but it was highly recommended by my local store (The Paw Depot). In my opinion Nature's Variety is better than California Natural and definitely better than Chicken Soup.
