| Possible Kennel Cough My DH and I added Milo to our family last weekend, the next day both him and Lola started coughing. They are both eating and drinking and playing (all day..lol) but the cough had me concerned (they have coughed once or twice per day since) so i packed them up yesterday and brought them to the Vet (milo needed some vaccinations and a checkup anyway) They Vet said he was not worried about it since they were still acting normal and it would probably clear up on its own in a few weeks. He said to just watch them and if they start not eating or acting lethargic to take them back in and he would give them some antibiotics. My question is does this sound normal? I do not want to overreact, but I am a concerned momma, any thoughts?

| Well, it is true that a lot of times dogs just have to get thru KC, kind of like a human cold/cough. There's not a whole lot you can do. But it CAN turn into anemonia sometimes so I always think it's good to get them on some antibiotics at least. Jackson had it twice and was cleared up within a few days of antibiotics.
