| Reverse sneezing Sadie is 1-1/2 years old. She recently was sick with vomiting and diarrhea. After she recovered she started reverse sneezing. I figured that it was connected with the illness since my daughter's dog also was sick and also started reverse sneezing. Now a couple of weeks have gone by. My daughter's dog isn't reverse sneezing anymore but Sadie is. Sometimes it is during the night while she is sleeping and sometimes it is when we get home at night, and she is excited. Is this something that will continue forever, or could it still stop? I started giving her 1/4 Benadryl twice a day but I don't see any changes. |

| I think I know what you're talking about...kind of like a breathing in real hard type of thing. My older dog does that sometimes and I've seen the puppy do this a couple of times. I've brought ChiChi to the vet many times but for some reason never mentioned it and they never have found anything wrong with him....not sure what it is. I figured, while on his "hoover" rounds around the house (nose to the floor sniffing everything in sight) he's sniffed up his own hair.
