I am just now reading this. I am so sorry you are going through all this. And sweet Zhoie too. You are being a good mommy and helping her through this. I wish I could give you some information but I don't know much about this myself. I can offer you my prayers. I will be thinking of you and Zhoie.

Tena I just wanted to let you know that I have Zhoie in my constant prayers and you also. I know how overwhelming this must all be for you. I pray for God to give you strength through all of this and for his healing hands to be with the doctors as Zhoie goes through whatever treatment plan the doctors and you decide for her.

Thank you all. Wanted to give you a little update on our progress. Decided the best place for us and I feel it's the most experienced in small dog neuro surgery would be to take Zhoie to Univ of Penn. It's about the closest (3.45 min) to us, but I believe a Univ will be the best. I will be calling Monday morning first thing to get a consult set up.

Though it's ripping my heart out to know, I will walk through those doors and with intent of putting my girl through this....I want to proceed as soon as it can be arranged. I'm so scared for her.

How are things going now? I was also really concerned when reading about her neck. All too often neck problems in Yorkies turn out to be scary things.
