| God I would LOOVE to win the lottery to pay for her dental work... I love Daisy to death..but oh my god her breath is killing me!! And I know its got to be mostly from her bad teeth! She needs a major cleaning and some teeth pulled. But the vet gave me an $$$ estimate. I know I need to call around to a fe wplaces..but still...this time of year, I just can't get it done yet Heck, my kids need cavities filled and we dont have dental insurance! I can't believe the breeder didn't do anything to take care of there teeth..so sad Ok vent over..back to your regularly scheduled posting

| Wow, if you don't mind me asking, how bad was the estimate? My Nikko has a few teeth that need extracting and I was wondering how much it will run me. of course, like you I will have to wait until the holidays are over.

Well she needs a very deep cleaning, and a few extractions. They gave me an estimate of around $300. (that included antibiotics and all too..but still) Calling around this week...but I know it will be more than I can do now. And its also keeping her from eating dry food they think!

| That is a bit steep. i am trying to avoid the whole extraction thing with Nikko. He has two double canines on the bottom and the baby ones won't budge. I am trying to give him lots of hard things to chew on and play lots of tug of war but they don't seem to be loosening up. he is almost 7 months old and is still teething but those canines look like they might have to be extracted. Thanks for the estimate, I might be looking at something similar.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I just had my pom's done 4 extractions, 1 molar ahd to be dug out and they also unblocked her left tear duct--The cost 350.00. Alot of the expense seems to be in the pre surgery blood work which is very important to have done on them to make sure they can take the anesthesia and surgery.
