| My poor little girly. Well Tuesday night, my little Poppy just didn't look right to me. She seemed all tensed up and there was just something wrong. I looked all over her, and all I could see was that she had really red eyes, but nothing else stood out, so yesterday, I took her to the vets, and he said her eyes were extremely sore. He agreed with me that she seemed tense, but said that her eyes could just be really annoying her and making her tense up. She was given an anti-inflamatory jab, and she has eye drops twice a day. I hope the drops do the trick, my poor girly. Last edited by AmberJ; 11-02-2011 at 11:13 PM. |

| Thank you, I'm just hoping it is just her eyes, and nothing more serious! Love her to bits! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Good job noticing something was out of sorts! I'm sure you saved her some hard times by getting her to the vet quickly.

| Bless her little heart. I know it must be hard on her to feel under the weather. It could be she's allergic to something. Some pups are extra sensitive to dust and dirt when going on walks.

| Poppy's eyes are not looking so red now. She is not enjoying her eye drops! She still seems a bit quiet, but she seems to have improved a little. |

| Hi. Hope your little one gets better soon. I wonder if the vet diagnosed what is wrong? Lets hope is just a mild attack of conjunctivitis that can be healed by the drops. Last edited by dottiesyrky; 11-04-2011 at 07:57 AM. Reason: typo |

| Hi Amber! Maybe Poppy has an allergy to something-being Fall, perhaps there is a certain flower or weed that is irritating her eyes. Maybe her vet could suggest an antihistimine she could take orally, as well as eye drops. Good luck, and I hope this passes quickly! |

| Eyes Thank goodness your little one has a treatable condition, the drops will soon make her well again. No wonder she was distressed, conjunctivitis is painful. Oh how I wish these babies could talk! Get well soon. |
