| Grr! Kaos had fleas a little over a month ago, a flea bath, topical, and washed all his bedding and he was good to go. Now he started itching like a monster the last two days. So I slowly went over his whole body with flea comb, and behold two live fleas killed. (I watch him like a hawk, no droppings yet, hopefully its not that bad.) I think he picked them up at the vet last week. I've had enough of these litter critters!!

| Oh no! I hate fleas and ticks! Do you use any kind of preventive on him? Have you heard of Minksheen shampoo? Here is some information on it: "MinkSheen Pet Shampoo's rich lather will gently clean your pet without leaving its skin dry or irritated. Mink Oil leaves a soft, shiny "show" quality coat, while Vitamin E soothes and prevents "hot spots." The cedar and citronella oils naturally repel biting insects while leaving your pet smelling great! The added benefit of an anti-bacterial will protect both you and your pet from the spread of harmful germs and bacteria. This incredible pet shampoo also has a coat conditioner within the shampoo so you only have to use one bottle to get everything done." I use Minksheen on my girls through the summer. We have never had a problem with fleas (knock on wood!) Might be worth looking in to once you get rid of them.

| We had the same problem this summer... I think we have them finally under control, but I'm keeping an eye on them. We did flea baths, flea preventative and I picked fleas off of them to keep them under control. Recently, I went to our natural pet store and they recommended that I use diatomaceous earth, a powder that you rub into the dog's fur and can be spread on the carpet and vacuumed up to kill fleas. This really seems to be working for us, so I would definitely suggest it. Just make sure to be careful with it and don't breath it in and make sure you get the pet type, not the type used for pools.
