My boys, Angus and Trouble both love sweet potato. I love them too so I just share mine. I cut out a portion before I apply the butter to mine, wait to cool and give them tiny bites. They go nuts. When my darling Eddie was alive he loved it also and liked dry food with a sweet potato base or mixture.

My three love the dehydrated sweet potatoes from Drs Foster & Smith. I just ordered another 2 pound container from them. My kids just see you reaching for the container and they go nuts!

Neo and Connor are nuts for dehydrated sweet potato fries! Actually, they will devour sweet potatoes in any form, but the fries are their favorites. This is the one thing (bribe) that I can get them to mind me for, lol!

				   | Princess loves sweet potatoes & that is the only treat I can really keep around all of the time, as opposed to lettuce, etc. I've been microwaving them so they're soft enough to cut then slicing & dehydrating them in the oven. They stay moist & slightly chewy and hold up. Plus I can make a "bigger" one for a special treat & teeny tiny ones for training, etc. It's one of few vet approved treats for her.

My girls love sweet potatoes. We've done the dehydrated ones that you buy. I've also use sweet potato baby food to stuff their Kongs. I also slice them (length wise) and bake them to make my own chews (for the dogs, not me!).

Great ideas here. Mine have eaten baked sweet potatoes and I have wondered how the dehydrated ones are. Are you talking about the dehydrated ones for humans? Also Ilike LDMomma's cutting like freis and then baking. That would be a good treat too. Oh and the baby food in the kong. I will have to stop on the way home and get some sweet potatoes. Some for them and some for me.
