| Hartz Pork Bone Chews? Good or Bad? My boyfriend purchased Hartz All Natural Premium Chews Smokey Pork Bone For Dogs. I tried googling the brand but I cant find much about them. Are these types of bone chews ok to give Yorkies? Heres a link to the brand. Hartz 3 Count All Natural Premium Chews Smokey Pork Bone For Dogs - 12359 |

| I wouldn't ever feed anything like that, and I have not even looked at the ingredients. Any sort of smoke processing can risk low level carcinogens, sodium nitrite, and possibly added sugar. I would throw them away.

| I wouldn't trust anything edible or any kind of medicine by Hartz, personally.

| I agree, I do not buy anything with the HERTZ name on it. They do not care about furbabies

| I won't by anything Hartz puts out. I've heard many horror stories!!! I also will never give my girls bully sticks again. A few years ago I did, and they all got very, very sick and had severe diarrhea. Hard to say what the companies spray them with to keep them from rotting on the shelves. NASTY! Beef femur bones from the butcher is the way to go for great chewing that they cannot eat. For snacks, go with apples, berries, old fashion peanut butter, dried fruits, yogurt and so on.

| I get the Red Barn bully sticks at Petsmart. They are good, not stinky from what I smelt.. Pnut loves them!
