Whether they HAVE or they ARE doesn't matter. I think Crystal's main message was that she doesn't like that kind of trickery - past or present.

| Yes, the word should have been "did", not "do". It appears that they took that terminology off of their website so they wouldn't open themselves up to more legal issues over questionable advertising practices. So I was wrong. Not sure why it took a lawsuit to properly describe their products, but whatever works for them.. Now it is obvious that at least some of their meat may not be fit for human consumption when they led people to believe otherwise. There is nothing wrong with the phrase "human grade" as long as the company is explaining what they mean and not intentionally misleading people.

| I am just making an effort to be precise in terms of the original line used.

Dear [insert name of PFC here], You claim your meats are sourced from "human grade" processing facilities. Do you denature your meats? YES | NO If the answer is "NO", then NO they are not "fit for human consumption".

Oh no, I don't think you have to take your toys and go home. I did not mean to sound unwelcoming. I find it odd that you have a doxie and you like our little yorkie community but I know from a friend with a doxie that there are just few arenas as active as ours. It's just that Crystal is a beloved YT member who is always helping everyone - hence the thread title being dedicated to her. So when you are trying to poke holes in her words and discredit her, many of us just don't like that. You kind of came on her with an attack on crystal to begin with so obviously some of us are remembering that.

On the other thing, yes, I'm still not sure why the first post on YT would be to disagree with a post or why one word in one post out of my many in this thread is a problem, but maybe I'm missing something. I'll PM you.

| I have really been giving this thread & discussion about SD some thought... Has any one ever even brought up the fact that IF there was an urgent recall that a BIG company like SD can get the recall out to consumers MUCH faster than the smaller Holistic companies??? I had never thought of this issue before. It is huge to me. Would that make me switch from Fromm or Acana to say SD? I am starting to think the answer is yes. When this bag of Fromm is gone I am going to give SD a try.
