| best food?! I have been feeding ozzy just regular small breed kibbles and bits because it is the only food so far that hasnt hurt his stomach. What food do you all use? Do you also feed can/wet food? What brand and flavors of both and how do you balance the wet/dry food? Thanks(: |

| I have tried many kinds of different foods. Since Rosie has IBS, we are on Science Diet I/D. I feed her and Mikki this. I use the dry and the can as well. I feed them twice a day with a dry/can food mixture. Before going to SD per vet recommendation, I used Instinct which she seemed to like. Here is a link about numerous different foods available. Maybe it will help. Dog Food Comparison Chart - Dog Food Ratings of Premium Dog Food and Supermarket

| Kaji eats Orijen right now. It's the new chicken and fish formula. I don't feed wet food, and still, he doesn't seem bored. He will do tricks for his dinner. I am however thinking of integrating some Stella and Chewy's freeze dried raw patties. For a little variation. They're not as gross looking as the raw ones, and Kaji seems to really enjoy it. He also loved the raw patties.

| see my problem isnt that ozzy doesnt like his food...I bought a fire hydrant storage thing from petsmart intending on using it for toys, ended up putting his bag of dog food, and bags of treats in it. I keep it in the hall closet and ozzy runs to the closet every morning after he goes out to pee, and then every night at exactly 7:30. So he loves his food, just its not good for him |

| Orijen and Stella and Chewys is good food for them. Kaji's a bit of a picky eater. Findin quality food that he likes is hard. Food that you find at the grocery store, like purina, kibbles and bits, etc, have a lot of fillers and a layer of fat sprayed on them to make it tasty for our pups. They're just like us, fatty foods just taste better.

| To each his own...I feed kibble. My pups thrive on Castor and Pollux Ultramix, except for the ones that must have RX foods. Oh, and I would venture to say that I have some of the healthiest yorkies around. No major stomach upsets...not that none have never had any; but they are basically very healthy. They see a vet as needed and definitely yearly at which time labs are done.

This is very true. JoeJoe is on Orijin Puppy and has Stella and Chewys mixed in and some nights we cook him food. He used to be on Evanger's but his stomach seemed to not work well with it. We've been through 4 different brands so as you can see , its not always easy to find the right food that can work for your pup. Maybe you could try contacting all the companies for free samples and see what Ozzy likes best. | |

| I changed Starsky and Shylah from Orejan to Fromm. Orejan is getting harder and harder to find around here. So I just changed them. They love Fromm and it comes in lots of different flavors, so they get variety. Not a whole lot of grains in them. Some oats and barley. Good flavors, chicken, pork, salmon, duck and beef. Also the kibble size is smaller. LOVE IT!

| My Yorkie is on an rx diet and my other pup is on Science Diet Nature's Best. You will come across tons of opinions on YT which is what makes it fun , but confusing . I did see you mention in another thread that your 5 - 6 pound pup gets a small bag of food every week and a half? How big is the bag? My Yorkie takes a month to finish a 6lb bag of food.

| My favorites are Acana, Nature's Variety and Fromm. I don't feed canned food very often. Oh, and they get Stella & Chewy's treats.
