| I am very sorry for you and Nestle. When you last posted about your pup's SARDS diagnosis, I looked around on the internet and every vet source I found said that there is no known treatment to restore vision. The best you can do for your dog is have testing done for ailments that are often associated with SARDS: liver disease and Cushing's for instance. Are you working with an ophthalmologist?

| I have a foster with Progressive Retinal Atrophy. He was seen by the vet opthamologist and nothing could be done to help him. He has lost his sight, but is doing well. He knows where everything is in my home and gets around fine. It is a sad thing for us to watch, but these little guys do handle blindness well. One of my personal pups is blind and deaf and he also does well. There is a book that might help you: Living with Blind Dogs

| Wishing the best for you and Nestel as you deal with this together.
