| ArmaniMan, Brister and Ellie May made some good points which I will def think about. That's interesting because all four vets that I've used said kibble was the best, and had facts to back it up, but who knows. A lot of people on yt probable know more than most vets!! I guess I've been lucky because I have always brushed my furbaby's (Prince (RIP) and Ian) teeth twice a day, every day without fail, and had bi-anunal dental check-ups. If I were to use can food, I have no idea what I would use because I never buy can anything. |

| In general, if a brand is good, it is good- kibble or canned. I really just mix it up with cans, since I feed so little of it anyway, I just grab a couple of cans of something each time I buy food. I have used Go!, Natural Balance, Halo, Merrick, amongst others. Mine tend to prefer the "stewed" kind like Merrick offers.

| Thanks everyone for the advice and replies. Believe it or not....tonight she was eating her kibble...go figure. I think I may try giving her a can when we are eating our dinner to see if it keeps her from barking at us and begging.

| We only feed kibble, right now it's a mix of 2 brands while I'm getting rid of a not so great food. I give them yogurt melts and dehydrated fruit (gerber graduates) as treats and Noah is still getting baby food from the jar twice a day. I give him green beans baby food occasionally too. ![]() I feed them dinner when we're eating dinner, and I never feed table food. I don't even put their bowls and treats on the table because I don't want them to think food for them comes from there. How do you get them used to teeth brushing???
