| Is This Normal? (regarding Heat Cycle?) I thought that they are supposed to go into heat every 6 months or so? Well I scheduled Ginger to be spayed with Cloey two weeks from Wednesday and I found her "Stuck" to Oreo when I got home today She had her first Heat the Middle of July. She just turned 1 Year old on November 16th. There was NO sign whatsoever that she was in heat, she wasn't swollen or anything, nor bleeding up until They got unstuck and I checked her, then she was swollen and on her period. I even had them taken to the Groomers and hadn't noticed anything at all! Is this normal? what the heck am i going to do now? my vet doesn't have any appointment closer? Do you think she will have another False Pregnancy? (this would be her 2nd heat if it indeed her heat)... Last edited by xtine; 11-18-2005 at 09:55 PM. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | The every 6 months thing is a norm but some can go in sooner while other later. Check with your vet on the best options for you right now. Otherwise, start counting the days!
