| I switched from Wellness to Natures Variety Instinct. I use the chicken flavor in both the dry and the canned. Rosie likes it and has done very well on it. It also has good ratings. We were able to get samples so we could try it before we bought it. You might see if you can get samples from one of the pet stores that carry it.

| We use Nature's Variety for all our dogs. We use mainly the Prairie formulas (mostly chicken and rice formula). The dogs have all done well on it, and they like it a lot. We have fed it to our dogs, from young puppies to our senior dogs with no problems. It is good for all life stages. I have used the Instinct a couple times but mostly stick to the Prairie formula. It's a very good food. |

| Just curious why you are moving away from Wellness -- I am in the process of moving Cali from Evo dry ( due to the whole Purina buy out) to Wellness dry. Cali likes the Wellness dry with a smiggen of the Wellness Stew (canned) in it. |

I switched from Wellness because I noticed an increase in Rosie's tear staining. Other than that, we had no problems.

Just heard so much about the benefits of grain-free food and know that Nature's Variety is grain-free. Pam | |

| I tried giving Sasha NV about 2 years ago. She ate it the first day or two and then became bored with it and wouldn't touch it so I stopped using it. This was also during the period where she was extremely picky when it came to eating so I'm not sure if she would eat it now or not. She currently eats Primal raw in the morning and Blue Buffalo Wilderness kibble at night, which is their grain-free line. The Wilderness is the only food that she has always eaten with no issues since I introduced it to her. She has been eating it for over a year now at least, maybe more. |
