Constipated for how long before giving pumpkin?

Which variety of TOTW do you feed. I used to feed TOTW (yellow bag) and my guys did good on it until by elimination we found Jada to be intolerant of grain and chicken. She did good on the pacific (the one with fish base) except for lots and lots of poops.

We tried all of the flavors I believe with sample packs & she loved all of them and I didn't notice any problems. The one we have now is the purple bag, but it's dumped into a container so I can't remember which kind it is. I thought all TOTW were grain free, maybe it was just certain ones?

Princess is just so super picky but she really loves this stuff, I don't mind flushing poop, but I just wonder if her anal glands are messed up if it'd be from pooping so much everyday.

TOTW is a grain free food but only one variety has no chicken or chicken meal in it. The chicken makes Jada itchy, and their food that was fish based made her poop a lot.

Yes some dogs are allergic to chicken so will make them itchy & the fish is oily so will make them poop more. When you go to the vet make sure they check her anals as some vets don't always check them. Mine does temp & chack anals every time at the same time.

Thank you, ladies. Yes, I am going to press for a full check up as she hopefully wont go back for a while. I'll ask about the anal glands as well. They said they wont need a stool sample.

I wondered how they would diagnose a UTI...would they cath her or something? I'd just rather rule out anything so we can get it taken care of all at once.

Hopefully it goes smoothly, Princess is a wreck at the vet, or the groomers.
