Donating YT 500 Club Member | Benadryl Side effects About 2 weeks ago I started switching Taycie's food over to Natures's Variety Instinct LID and things have been great. Over this last weekend I have noticed her poops have been firm and formed but twice they stuck to her, resulting in a few quick little booty baths. I really am hoping its not her food!.. But I am wondering if Benadryl will cause looser stools? After talking with my vet last week she told me I could give Taycie Benadryl to help relieve some seasonal allergies. The pollen count has been very high here right now and you can actually see it! So poor Taycie's eyes have been a watery mess.. I have an appointment with my vet in about 3 weeks to get her Yearly shots, bloodwork and fecal done and I was going to ask her more about allergy meds, but until then she advised Benadryl will help alleviate the symptoms. Could this be causing her stool to be slightly looser?

| Benadryl would dry the mucous membranes, and if anything would lead more to constipation. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I googled side effects online, loose stools and or diaherra comes up. It's supposed to rain and that will calm the pollen down. Hopefully in the next few days I will be able to see if the benadryl is the cause.
