| Table spoons per pound of weight? Has any one heard that a table spoon of dry per lb. of weight is correct? If not, what do you all do on how much to feed?

| I free feed Rowdy - he is very picky and i've never been able to get him to eat at certain times - my only luck has been to leave the dry food out and then he will eat it when he gets ready. I sometimes give him boiled chicken or toddler (human) chicken sticks in the morning and/or evening.

| I'm not sure on the tablespoon thing but I went with what the vet recommended which closely corrresponds to what the dog food bag says on it. Samson is almost 5 lbs and I feed him about a 1/2 cup (sometime a little more or less) a day. Pretty much his food dish always has food in it but I put in a 1/4 cup at a time and sometimes he eats it all and other times not. |
