| SHould I change our 5 month old puppies food? Hello everyone, We have our 5 month old puppies (Pickles and Snickers) and we have them on Nutro wet puppy food and Buffalo Blue dry puppy food. When we got them for the first time they were very picky on food, and now they wont eat at all. I gave them just wet food and I just gave them dry. I am worried at the smallest of the two (Pickles) He is alot smaller and he doesnt want to eat as much. He has energy and loves to play, but wont budge for the food...except treats. I worry about Hypoglycemia so much with them both, and I wanted to know what is a good puppy food to have them on? My girlfriend leaves next week and I will be the momma until she comes home safely from Afghanistan. They are our kids, and I wouldn't know what to do if something happened to them. Any help would be great. We go to Petsmart for all of they food, so I know that they have a great selection of food :-) Sincerely, Shanesta Maria , Pickles , and Snickers |

| I am in the process of switching Minnie to Wellness Super5Mix Just for Puppy. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this food. Wellness Complete Health® Super5Mix® Just for Puppy I have fed Minnie dry food since I have got her when she was weaned, I don't want her to expect wet or mixed food at every feeding. She is spoiled but not that spoiled lol. |

| I just switched my babies to Wellness super5mix for adults for Bella and Wellness super5mix for Puppy for my 7 month old Boy Harley from Eukanuba...I tried a few times to switch to blue and a few others 5 star foods but they did NOT like it...but this time I think I have found a good food they love..Yay!!! Pet Smart carries it...just keep in mind puppies have small tummies and it doesn't take much to fill them up, so they need to eat more often...like 4 to 5 meals a day...my babies pick at there kibble so I free feed...I leave kibble down for them 24/7 plus what I cook for them for dinner....good luck.

| Alice is really picky and I found that she likes grain free foods much better (smells stronger?). I use Orijen puppy. The other thing I have to do with her (and from what I've read here, it seems to be pretty common) is that she won't eat her food out of a bowl. I have to kind of spread it out on the kitchen floor and then she'll eat it all. She has this weird way about doing it too - she keeps moving around the food and taking every few pieces from a differnt side of the pile. Lol, idk, off the floor is the only way she'll eat so I do it.

| I feed my dogs Nature's Variety. They love it and have done extremely well on it. I feed mostly the Nature's Variety Prairie chicken meal and brown rice formula. It is an all life stages food and is good for puppies as well. The kibble is small and easy to eat. My last 2 dogs (a Yorkie and a Maltese) have eaten this ever since we got them as puppies. I have a co-worker that has a Beagle that did not eat well. She seemed disinterested in her food and he tried several different foods for her. I suggested Nature's Variety and she loves it. He said his dog gobbles up the food within a couple minutes. Not sure if it is the freeze dried raw coating on the kibble or if it is something else, but they seem to really like it. You can go to Nature's Variety website and there is a "try it" coupon for a free small bag. |

| Thank you so much guys. I have them on Nutro but I haven't heard very good things about it. I have been told that Wellness is a great brand ($$$) but you cant put a price on a puppy's health and well being. :-) |

| Kody has been on Wellness Super 5 Mix for over a months now - his stools are loose now. He was neutered last Friday - has loose/running stools since then. Not sure if it's that or the Wellness. He eats the Wellness really well but starting yesterday, stool really loose and going more than normal. I'm wondering should I switch and if so, to what?

| At the moment I feed sophie natures recipe. She did real well on it at first but now she's getting kind of picky. Plus she doesn't always keep it down. I really felt that this was a great quality food until I read a few reviews. After reading it I decided to look into wellness. It seems to be a high quality food. Sophie has sensitive skin so I try to use food made with fish for the omega and they have Wellness Super5Mix Complete Health White Fish & Sweet Potato Recipe Dog Food. So I'm more than likely going to try and see how this works out for her. I hope you find something that helps. |

| TThey also have treats. I'm a big fan of using treats as rewards. I'm so happy I read up on the reviews. |
