| Is there an oral TICK medication? I have been using Comfortis for fleas but would like to find something safe to use for ticks. I do not want a topical product. Is there a product to use that is safe and will kill ticks as well as fleas? |

| Nope. The Preventix collar would probably work. Not recommending that though.

| ugh, didn't think so. I was hoping there was some terrific product out there I was ignorant of. Guess short haircuts and tick checks will be my job. We have those seed ticks terrible here and they are killer to find. ETA: Thanks Crystal |

| I have found two ticks on Lucy so far this spring (actually it was just this past Sunday). My Vet recommended that I put a tick collar on her just while we are out walking and then take it off as soon as we get home. So far, I haven't done this and I'm not really sure what to do either.

| I wish! I HATE putting the icky stuff on Jackson because it gets all in his hair and makes it greasy. And you have to wait, like, 48hrs or something to give him a bath. But ticks are too bad around here to not use anything.

| I've heard that if you put a couple drops of Rose Geranium Oil on the collar, it will repel ticks. Not sure how well it works though. |

| I use Frontline Plus and it works really great for fleas and ticks. Why don't you want to use something topical?
