| Natural Balance DRY Feeders--need advice We have been feeding TOTW for a good while now with good results. But just recently, Coby has been throwing up a little yellow bile in the mornings, plus, he seems to be getting bored with the same 'ole everyday.....MY Coby weight approx. 12 lbs. I was thinking of rotating a bag of Natural Balance in to his diet. The SWEET Potatoes & BISON and SWEET Potatoes & VENISON look like great formulas, but I have seen where several have mentioned the POTATO & DUCK for sensitive tummies. What variety do you use? Would the POTATO formula have as much nutritional value as the SWEET POTATO formulas? Can't wait to here your input. YT is the bomb!! |

| Do you feed him first thing in the morning (after he goes potty of course)? Vomiting yellow stuff is 99% of the time just a sign of an empty tummy. When I was working out Alice's pickyness, she was only eating a few bites in the morning and if she didn't eat more, after an hour or two she would do the same thing. Our Akita will throw up yellow bile too if one of her meals is late for some reason (if we sleep in on a weekend or get home late to give dinner). I'm not using TOTW, but I do know what you're talking about. Try making sure he eats well right away in the morning and that should do the trick

| I feed NB Lamb and Brown Rice. About a year ago the changed the formulation of the Sweet Potato and Venison which caused Pebbles to itch. I them tried the Potato and Duck and did not like how they were pooping. Very oily and well it just really stank. By far I am very pleased with the Lamb and Brown Rice.

| We always have great success when we feed the chicken and sweet potato formula- but my kids wont eat the large kibbles for too long. Just waiting for NB to get a small kibble size in the chicken formula.

| Thanks so much for the advice. Coby is real "itchy", so I tend to stay away from chicken kibbles. I may try one of the other varieties. |
