| CET Chews, Are they okay? I'm wondering about these for my boys, lately they don't seem to bother with Bully Sticks, and only chew on pork hide twists and Jesse likes Himalayan chews as well. I am afraid to give them certain things so wanted to see what peoples thoughts were on the CET's. Thanks All

| I think the CET chews are the ones that my vet recommended, not sure though...

| My vet recommended them, they also sell them at the vet's office. She said to give him the medium size so that he will have more to chew on for his teeth. The petite and small ones are too small and they gobble them up too quickly. Amazon might sell them. |

| I know Wylie's Mom's little boy, Marcel, I think... choked on one a while back and it was pretty scary. So I wouldn't give the petite sizes, get the bigger ones.

| That's exactly what I was thinking. Ann came so close to losing Marcel that I'm nervous to offer them to my babies.

| Here's the ingredients in them: Beefhide, dextrose, poultry digest, hydrolysed vegtable protein, primary dried yeast, potassium sorbate, glucose oxidase, dried whey protein concentrate. They are a form of rawhide, which makes me nervous. And I don't really see how they'd be any better for the teeth than any other kind of rawhide from the pet store.

| I actually heard that bully sticks are good for keeping teeth clean, is this true, because Teegy loves them. I like to load up at Woofstock |

| I recently bought the regular CET chews in the Medium size and also the Veggie chews. I trust the veggie ones more. The regular ones seem to get wet and mushy and they try to bite off chunks. I have been closely supervising since the boys love them.

| They are also available on Amazon.com. I went to www.yorkiehavenrescue.com and then used their link to amazon so a portion of my purchase would be donated to the foster pups in need.

I would not give the petite to them at all. I now give Marcel the Medium, and he has such a little mouth that he can't get anything off of it, he just chews it. Wylie can consume the Meds, but he has always done perfect w/ any chew; Pfeiffer mostly just chews the Meds too. I just got the veggie CETs and I was really bummed that Marcel could consume these, so I think they're out for him. Btw, I get all my CETs on Amazon.
