| Yorkie with a bad habit. Hi! I am a new yorkie owner. I have had my puppy only since mid January. I still feed her the same food the breeder gave her, science diet puppy. I noticed the first few days I had her she was eating her poop. She is an indoor dog only so I have been trying to puppy pad train her. She dose ok for the most part but when she poops she turns right around and starts to eat it not even giving me a chance to clean up her mess. I stop her and change her puppy pad. The things I have done to try and stop this habit is buying over the counter tablets, those never worked. I bought this powder stuff called for-bid. It worked for 2 weeks and then she started up again even when I keep giving it to her. I have even tried squirting her in the face with a water bottle. I think this is so gross and I just want her to stop doing this. I just dont know what to do anymore. It also concerns me of her health and I dont want her to get sick or even die from this. Can someone please give me some advice? |
