| Do you use petzlife? Which one do you use? Yuna is 1 year and 2 months now and I know yorkies are prone to decaying teeth. I brush her teeth 3-4 times a week. Would petzlife help? |

| I love Petzlife and don't use it nearly as much as we should. But I like the gel better only because Jackson is a freakazoid about the spray and FLIPS out. So the gel is much easier to put on him!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Dogs aren't prone to decaying teeth, it's tartar that they are known for. Tartar builds up areoud the tooth and under gums causing bad breath and loose teeth. It's important to get baby teeth removed so that they don't have a double row, as this could lead to food/bacteria in crevices and might lead to decay. PetzLife is said to soften tartar so that it can be removed later through tooth brushing. Don't make the mistake of brushing with it though. It should be applied 30 minutes after food or water is given, and wait at least another 30 minutes before giving water or food. I have both the gel and spray, I think the spray is easiest, I just lift his mouth open and spray on each side, you can do it fast. Joey's is 4 and his vet said his teeth look great, and to continue doing what I'm doing.

| Oh. Yuna flips out easily as well. I should get the gel. Which flavour did you get? Peppermint or the Wild Salmon Oil? |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Just out of curiosity, did you ever punish with a spray water bottle? I know many people recommend it for barking, but I use so many sprays around Joey, and I didn't want him to think it was a punishment.

| Thank you for clarifying! Yuna is my first dog so I am still learning a lot. I'm just worried that if I spray and she moves or something. I might get it in her eye? She fusses a lot. Quote:

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I didn't know about the cavity thing either until I found Yorkietalk. I kind of pull down on the chin hairs, and put the spray directly in his mouth. Never had a miss.

| Petzlife or Plaqueoff? I never heard about Petzlife...I haven't tried Plaqueoff before. I have just been brushing their teeth every night as much as I can. To ensure the health of their teeth, I have considered adding another prevention method. So, my question is Plauqueoff or Petzlife?

| I just started using this but I have been brushing it on with her toothbrush. How are you supposed to apply this?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I use the gel and I really like it. Taycie tolerates it I like the results I have seen with it so far. I use it mostly as a preventative about once a week. I brush Taycie's teeth morning and night with C.E.T toothpaste and her teeth look great! The vet so far is very pleased

Directions Applying either the Spray or Gel twice a day to start out for the first week or two is best to get a good start at breaking down the plaque and tartar and healing the gums. Then, using it daily until you notice that the teeth and gums are healthy again. After a couple of months you should see that most everything is cleared off and you can start the maintenance program 1-3 times per week, this varies with each animal so don't give up if you are not seeing the results! Our Spray and Gel have the same ingredients.... It is just a Gel form of the Spray. NO BRUSHING REQUIRED!!! PetzLife Oral care spray (Directions) Spray directly on the largest area of tartar. (You will notice your pet licking it’s lips repeatedly. This helps mix the spray with your pet’s saliva and the natural ingredients will coat all surfaces of your pet’s teeth and gums.) Note: The bottle says 2 sprays for small dogs, “one on each side of pet’s mouth is recommended.” (For heavy build-up apply twice / day.) Pet Under 12 lbs. 2-3 Sprays Pet 12-35 lbs. 3-4 Sprays Pet 35-60 lbs. 4-5 Sprays Large Breeds 5-6 Sprays * For best results withhold food and water 30 minutes before and after applications. * After 30 days you can reduce to one application per day sprayed directly into your pet’s mouth. (After 60 days you can reduce to every 2nd or 3rd day) Note: Your pet's plaque and tartar should not return with this recommended usage. * You will know Petzlife oral spray is working when the tartar begins to leave the area between the gum line and the teeth. When the gum area is tartar free, it is no longer a breeding ground for harmful bacteria that can go directly into your pet’s bloodstream. The last area to become tartar free is the middle of your pet’s teeth. You will also notice that your pet’s breath will be much fresher. * Doggy and Kitty breath in most cases is gone! PetzLife Oral care gel (Directions) * First month-- if you have a pet with heavy plaque and tarter build-up we recommend applying first thing in the morning and again in the evening. PetzLife gel will be mixing with your pet’s saliva and the natural ingredients will coat all surfaces of your pet’s mouth. You will start noticing positive changes after just one week. If applying with a brush, a "soft" or finger brush is recommended. Note: The brushing action removes the plaque and tartar that has been softened by the ingredients in our gel and spray. This is why we say, “Spray for ease, brush for faster results.” * For best results, withhold food and water 30 minutes before and after application. * After a short time you should notice that the area at the gum-line is now free from plaque and the gums are looking healthier. This is a very important step because harmful bacteria is now blocked from entering your pet’s bloodstream. You can now reduce to one application per day. * After 30 days when most or all of the build-up has been removed you can reduce to one application every 2nd or 3rd day. Your pet’s plaque and tartar should not return with this recommended usage. You should also have noticed that your pet’s breath has become much fresher. Pet Under 12 lbs. 1/4 tsp. Pet 12-35 lbs. 1/3 tsp. Pet 35-60 lbs. 1/2 tsp. Large Breeds 1 tsp. Fussy or Finicky Pet? Great ways to use our products without the Brushing or Fuss! One trick that is working fantastically is to smear a little peanut butter on a saucer or plate and put the gel on the edge of one side of the peanut butter. Dogs love peanut butter, and they lick the mixture and it coats their entire mouth and gums. The peanut butter is digested, and our product is left in their mouth, this is very effective at bed time. Keep all other food and water away and it will work its magic all night long! Pet owners have sprayed their dog's favorite chew toy or bone and this has worked for them. For small dogs, all you do is pat a dab of gel on dogs lips and they lick into their mouth and product coats entire mouth and gums. Note: For Cats: Gel is better choice, because most cats are trained with a spray bottle and are afraid of it; so, just dab the gel on their lips and they lick it in. Especially the Salmon Oil Gel! Use our gel on favorite treat or mix in a dab of fish oil, liver paste or other favorite snacks that your cat likes. Or, try putting a dab on the top of their paw, and they should lick it right into their mouth. Remember, direct application is best with no dilution and occasional brushing , but these methods have been proven to work!! If you can save one trip to the vet you will be $$$ ahead and may even save your pet's life! Directions for Use - Natural Pet Products, Dog Dental Care - PetzLife

| Thank you...never thought to look on You Tube or their website. The directions on the bottle don't tell you all of this.

| I just got the Petzlife about 3 weeks ago for Baby my cat...she will not let me brush her teeth at all. She has tarter and her gums were a little red...My Vet gave me CET to use on her to see if that would help remove the tarter without doing a dental on her...I had heard of the petzlife and seen that it had great reviews so I order it and used it instead of the CET...I use it 2x's a day for Baby as instructed on the bottle for bad tarter...its been 3 weeks now just about all Baby's tarter is gone and her gums are nolonger red, I'm hopeful that when I take her back next week for her follow up appt. to see how the CET worked and blood work IF we still have to do a dental...that we will not need the dental now and I will have to tell my Vet I didn't use the CET I used the petzlife instead I love it!! I got the Petzlife Gel with Salmon Oil...I have also been using it on my Yorkies 3x's a week.
