2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | #4 Porky Yorkies/Made the switch to diet meal, cross your fingers! Well I finally made the decision to switch (My Four Porky Yorkies) to a diet meal after four months of limiting their intake and no longer free feeding with no results. We went with Beneful (Healthy Weight) by Purina with real vegetables and chicken. They LOVE it... The first couple of days they were caught putting their heads in the feed bucket to get more. I hope that is a good sign. They no longer sit and eat an entire bowel. They lwalk away when they get a full belly. I have even lowered the amount they were getting each day from 41/2 c total to only 1/3 c each, three times a day. I take up any uneaten food and it goes back into the bucket. We are still dong the half and half old and new, poo is still solid. And I am excepting a good outcome when I switch to 100 percent new Beneful. I weighed each of them on the first day and will keep track of the transformation to my sweet, little and I emphasize the word LITTLE Yorkies once again! Week One: Quincy = 16 lbs Miah = 15lbs Brandi = 18lbs Ruby = 10lbs
