| Has a vet looked at her mouth - she is young but does she has some bad teeth or gum problems? Is she getting any omega type supplements that are salmon? What kind of food does she eat? And, how is her digestion? Lots of questions, but that is a place to start. Lots of Yorkie people use PetZLife and brush their Yorkie's teeth to hel with the breath issues. Good luck! |

| Teething can be causing bad breath, as well as retained baby teeth. You may want to take a look in her mouth and try and see if there are any baby teeth that should have come out. Yorkies are notorious for retaining their baby teeth. Usually when you bring them in to get neutered/spayed you have the vet take out any stubborn baby teeth too. You don't want to put them under anesthesia more than needed.

| Barring any medical problems......which should be evaluated by a vet......they do make doggie breath mints. I use these for Bella. Helps a WHOLE LOT!!!!! LOL

| They are called Petrodex. Got them at Petsmart or Petco not sure which. I only give half a mint maybe once a week. But it does seem to help with the skunk breath.

| Remy had that problem... her breath could gag you-- a foul fishy poopie smell!! When I took her to the vet he said it was because her anal glands were impacked and she was licking them.. now her breath is sweet

Really... Never heard of that b4, makes scenes. I have tried to squeeze out my dogs glands and have never had much luck.

| i recently changed Princess' dog food & i am so amazed! it actually made her poop almost odorless....the down side? the horrible smell went from one end to the other and now her breath is intolerable! i'm going to try some mints, as others have and i hope they help! it could really put a damper on our relationship if she can't obsessively lick my face. i hope we can find something to make this smell go: then our babies can again!
