| Should I be worried? is this normal? Okay.. the other day I weighed Taylah in for her 13 weeks.. and she was 2.8lbs! Today for the heck of it, I weighed her again and shes 2.1 lbs! Is this normal? I don't understand.. she eats like a little pig! And here lately I've been feeding her as I see fit and keeping it down for her to eat as she likes and well she gets treats and so forth.. so I don't see how she is losing. This has be really worried... could something be wrong? She doesn't act sick, she eats like normal, potties normal, never has puked/been sick, and is always happy, playing and very active. Any advice? or suggestions on this? I'm a worried Momma

| Well I would probably be worried if I had a puppy that was losing weight but it doesnt sound like you have any problems getting her to eat. If you are really worried the vet has high calorie food its called Hills prescriptition diet pd. You could get that and give it to her.

| what did u use to weight him? My vet weighed him at 2.6 once then 2.1 another day after. I was shocked. They I asked if he used the same balance and if it was calabrated. He used balance A on one day and balance B on the other. We found out they were off. |

| I woud weigh her again tomorrow and see what it says then sence she is eating and every thing seems fine. Maybe the scales are off. If she starts to look like she is losing weight then I would have her checked out. |

| Thanks everyone -- I weighed her again this morning and she is 2.0lbs now, so it may be just my scale, as its a normal one that humans use. lol She goes to the vet tomorrow, so Im sure they will give me a better estimate and more appropriate weight with their scales. She doesnt look like she has lost any weight, still hyper, mean, and eating machine! haha Just a little bugger I guess!

Also even though there aren't any signs, she may have worms. Has she had her last set of shots (7&1) ? If not when you take her ask the Vet. If her shots are finished and the weight lose continues I would take her to the Vet. Take Care
