| A question about the 'heat' cycle. Hello, I have a question about how long the heat cycle lasts. I heard once that it was 2 weeks coming in, 2 weeks in and 2 weeks going out. My Lilly, is in the swelling stage for about a week. She is 10 mos old. I haven't had her spayed yet because I just thought she was too small for surgery. I will do this in the fall. She sure didn't like the little diaper I put on her so I just put towels on her beds and hope for the best. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

| I think it can be different (slightly) for each dog... mine bleeds for 1-1.5 weeks then can go up to a month being swollen afterward... but it's at least 2 weeks. This past one was a long one though. IDK...
