| I can only add this: Nylabone makes different items. I use the Dura Hard ones. It is virtually impossible for a pup to bite a piece off and ingest it. My biggest fear is items that are edible because they can cause intestinal obstructions.

| I want to get the 12" thin, but gosh they sell them in packs of 25. It's still really cheap for 25 but I didn't want that many. LOL - I see Brit N Jackson FB fans at the top of the page. Small world...

I was always like that too. I hated ordering large quanities of things. I've learned to order most things in bulk nowadays, it just saves me sooo much. I got 50 for my one little boy so they last us a long time. The 25 pack lasted us about 2 months, I think? This 50 pack that we're on right now... I still have a full zip lock bag of them so I have a feeling they will last us a WHILE!! Probably til like June, LOL. I ordered them in late January. They are really thick so they take him a lot longer to chew and some days he doesn't chew any at all... I don't bring any over to my dads house because last time we had a fight between the dogs so they are just for Jackson to enjoy at our house ![]() They do have an ebay store which has smaller packages.

| I have bought so many Nylabones and not one of my Yorkies would chew one of them except a cursory few chews. What is wrong with my dogs? My Jilly would chew any and everything except a Nylabone! Tibbe is not much of a chewer so I can understand him, but I seem to remember that even my Scotty would not chew a Nylabone. I have put peanut butter on them and they lick that off and walk away from the Nylabone.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey loves Bully sticks, and we only buy the Merrick sticks because they use no artificial preservatives and are preserved naturally through drying, which is very safe if done correctly. This is one of the few sticks made in the States, and are much harder than most sticks and have a low moisture content. I really think they help with his teeth and gums, and are a great substitute for bones. It takes about a week or more to eat a 6-inch stick, so I don't worry about the calories, as it's less than an inch a night. If your dog can eat a bully stick in one day, it's too soft, and a food substitute not a chewing stick! We throw out the sticks when they are about 2 inches. Lately I've been boiling about an inch of water in a cup, and putting the stick in the water for 30 seconds after it boils, and Joey prefers the softened tip, but he still get great flossing action out of the tendon.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I usually buy them in bulk on ebay. This was the last place I used, but I always do a search for the best price. Merrick Bully Sticks Dog Treats Meaty Treats. Many places have free shipping. They are individually wrapped, and have no expiration date, like those with artificial preservatives.

Edit - just went on the site and put an order in my cart as if I was ordering 50 thick bully's... it gives me four options for shipping in a drop-down menu. Highest shipping being $11-something and lowest being $6.

| You guy's are the best. You know how much money I've dropped on recommendations from this site? A ton! and it's all worth it cause I only want the best for my baby. She just got her bully sticks and Himalayan chews today and she doesn't know what to do with herself. Oh and I can leave the room without a tail now...I may even be able to close the door when I use the bathroom now too
