| Noticed something Bitsy got her rabies shot a little over 2 weeks ago, last night I noticed on her back, near where she got her shot, a small knot about the size of a pea or a little smaller. When you touch it, it moves around, doesn't seem to bother her or anything. I'm wondering is this normal Or should I have it checked

| It's normal after a rabies shot. Mine always get those bumps. It should go away in a couple of weeks.

| Our basset hound had a very bad reaction from her rabbies shot.. She broke out in hives all over her body, her face swelled up and her tongue was hangine out of her mouth. She was all over the house trying to scratch from the hives. The vet gave her a shot of benadryl and told me to give her one pill for the next 24 hours and she was fine. |

| Rosie had a bump that came up after her shot. I was nervous too! I think I even posted a thread here and I called the vet. They said it was normal. Your being a good momma for worrying about your baby when a bump pops up!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie had that happen after a vaccination. I was worried so I took her in to have it checked and they confirmed it was from her shot. It took over a month to go away.
