| Short course hair My Henry is 1 1/2 yrs old and has always had a beautiful coat but i just noticed a patch of hair on the back of his neck just below the ears that is really short n course almost like whisker hair..It is the strangest thing... I took a pic w my iphone but for some reason its saving the pic in a format that will not let me upload. I upload all the time so I have no idea...

| I have read here on YT of odd patches of hair growing in various places on the body. Sometimes the texture of the hair is different, sometimes the color, and sometimes both, as in your case. Some of the unusual patches occurred where shots were given or where the dog had been bitten by a bug. Some were a complete mystery. As long as the skin looks okay, I don't think you need to worry.
